Learning Basic Guitar Chords

For the meantime, i will introduce you to basic guitar chords that don't yet requires too much finger-pressing on your part. The vertical lines in the illustrations signifies 6 strings numbering from 1-6 from the right side, which means the number 1 string is the smallest treble string from the floor going up to the number 6th which is the biggest bass string closest to your face. The horizontal lines signifies the frets on the fret board of the guitar. The numbers placed on top are the fingers to use in executing the chords, they are:

forefinger-1, middle-2, ring finger-3, pinkie or small finger-4 and the thumb-T.

The letter "O" means that that string is also being played but not pressed on. The letter "X" ( in some chord charts) or the absence of any number or letter on top of every vertical line (guitar strings) means that, that string is not to be played. When you see a letter "T" on a chord pattern, it means your thumb must press that string. For now you can use a single downward strum with your thumb just to hear the sound  of a chord. Be sure you place your fingers inside the fret board space and not on the fret (horizontal line) itself to produce a better sound. Take time to execute proper finger positioning, check that all the strings you pressed on and the ones that are not pressed are both sounding clearly and practice these as often as  you want for your left hand to familiarize the chords.

Below is the G chord illustration. Here you can see the strings with the sign "O"(as in open strings) just above the vertical lines  (guitar strings) signifies the strings are to be played.

Here we can see the symbol "X" in the C chord.

If you are a parent and wants your child to take guitar lesson, first see to it that your child have shown such interest by seeing them motioning the play, the gestures of the players, or sometimes their asking you in no time to buy a toy instrument. Its a good choice to enable your child to spend his/her internet time into a more educational and beneficial with the advantage of a lifetime usability. Musical training can make children healthier in all aspects, - physical, mental, emotional and social. We must no let their interest in music wasted in such useless genre and music applied to games. We must teach our children to learn to appreciate music in a more noble and balance way. And one of this is to tackle their interest in learning how to play a musical instrument of their interest. Since children nowadays are busy having too much not important activities online, having them learn guitar online will make it diverted into a useful attitude and that is through learning and discipline.

What's Your Favorite Musical Instrument?

Since childhood days we may begin to tap anything near us in order to go with the music we are hearing. I used to do that since my in elementary days, i just make a tapping sound on the surface of my desk and playing a beat in my mind. Maybe that's when musicality in me starts to grow.
I like to play the drums then since its my first love instrument. I dont know how to play the guitar those days when i was 10 years old. It happens only when my oldest brother, a church sacristan (church helper) in his teens. He used to borrow and bring home frequently the guitar from the parish convent he is serving and play with his friends. I just look at them by then. I see he frequently look at the book as he stops singing and strumming for a while. I certainly know its not the song lyrics he's staring at. I still don't know its the chord table he is looking at and I just wonder why he always look at that.

Whats Your Favorite Musical Instrument?
This thing in me goes as having first favorite and second favorite instrument.
First favorite, THE DRUMS.
I personally want to believe that if you have passion for something, naturally you have a talent in that.
I observed myself doing a more complicated beat in anything i tapped. I am able to produce a variety of sounds from anything in a combined or succesive fashion of beat But since our musicality somehow awakens us anytime of the day, i settle for another interesting instrument and its the guitar.

Second favorite: THE GUITAR
I realized then that my fondness in music doesn't stop in just getting the beat but to a more serious one- songwriting. So by this the guitar came to be as the one fitted to be with me. If i remember right i think i have written 22 songs in all. Most of them are songs of love and a few about songs of life.I exerted much effort in order to learn the guitar. I learned the harder way on a metal stringed guitar.

Some Things That Goes In Me...
I think musicians sometimes makes a library of emotions. It always has a song in that. Maybe it needs a musical instrument to upload that emotion and let the people browse that one item in your library. Nice to give it a try. Maybe an expression through the instrument will brought that out. A soul reflected out. then start. To have a soulful rendition, i think our souls need to practice that. Dare to try what instrument will best give you the most passionate and fondness with you can lived up to.Patience and discipline are needed to make this spirit in us flourish and become richer as time passes by.
